New JSQ’d Firefighters

Recently we had a new group of Scholarship Firefighters and Volunteer Firefighters who participated in a two-week Jump Seat Qualification (JSQ) Course. This course familiarizes new members with Department procedures and allows them to get the training they need to be entry Firefighter. This year we had a mixed group of Scholarship Firefighters and Volunteer Firefighters. Congratulations to Zyaden Blair, Dylan Heckle, Matthew Hudson, Dagmawi Kebede, Trevor Kroening, Trevor Nay, Greg Novak Christoph Reier, and Zachary Warner.

Community Service Training

Getting out into our community is important. This provides realistictraining, develops area familiarization, and allows our drivers, firefighters, and officers to be prepared for emergencies in the actual homes of our fireservice area. It also allows us to meet the families we serve. Thanks to our communitymembers for opening up your homes for this essential training.
