We would like to thank Mathew MacCarter and Domenic Monzingo who built a door prop for our department. Both are instructors for the local 375 plumbers and pipe fitters apprenticeship program. All of the materials were donated from C&R pipe out of kindness. This door prop allows us to to train new recruits and senior members on making forcible entry into a structure during a emergency such as a structure fire. Having this prop allows us as firefighters to have mastery in this area and allow for faster operations on the fire ground. Many hours have already been spent on this prop and many lessons have been learned through using it.
