Fire station 62

Station 62

Built in 1983, the station is staffed by 1 career staff who works an A, B, C rotating 48/96 hour shift schedule. The staff consists of 1 paid Firefighter and 1 volunteer Firefighter. We also have 5 live-in volunteer Firefighters.

The Station houses 2 Type 1 Pumpers, 1 ALS Ambulance, 1 Tender, 1 Type 6 Brush Rig, and 2 support vehicles. This station responds to all emergencies within Steese Area Service Area.

Engine 62

Engine 62 is built on a 2009 KME Severe Service chassis. It is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and a 1000 gallon water tank.

Tender 62 is built on a 2007 KME Peterbilt chassis. It is equipped with a 1000 GPM pump and a 3000-gallon water tank.

Rescue 62 is built on a 2004 KME Predator chassis. It is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and a 1000 gallon water tank.
